Lea Brindle is a Consulting Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Counsellor who has worked with leading consultancy firms before setting up in private practice in 1989. In addition to delivering a range of consultancy assignments, Lea has assessed, counselled & coached over 3000 individuals during this period. He is committed to the personal and career growth of his clients, and to the success of the organisations with whom they work. Lea has conducted several Assessment & Development projects, has carried out a range of validation & performance management exercises and conducted organisational health "climate surveys" for leading organisations. He has worked across many business sectors and has appeared in the press and on radio & TV discussing a range of everyday psychology topics and has published articles based on his observations of best practice. Recently Dr Lea has assessed several hundred contributors for "reality TV" programmes to assess their general suitability and mental stability to appear on TV. He has NOT been connected with Big Brother!

Prior to his training as a business psychologist, Lea held technical and managerial posts in the computer and electronics industry. He has also worked as a consultant for Coopers & Lybrand Associates and with a leading firm of business psychologists, as a psychologist for the government (Manpower Services Commission), with OPCS (HM Government Census Office) and as a lecturer at Cranfield University. At the turn of the Millennium, Dr Brindle has held the posts of Course Director and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Bristol for the MSc in Organisational Psychology for three academic years.

Professional: Dr Brindle holds degrees from London Guildhall University (1979), University of Aston (1980) and Cranfield University (1984). He has also received specialised Masters' level counselling training from Roehampton Institute and other leading organisations. An Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, he currently serves as an Examiner for the Division of Occupational Psychology and is also a founder member of the Association of Business Psychologists.
